New Work: EP Martial Arts Branding & Website
After a 2-3 month endeavor, we’re proud and excited to announce the new brand and website launch of our clients, EP Martial Arts! Today’s a day that we’ve been waiting for, especially since this project was just straight-up fun from start to finish.
For the folks who don’t know, EP Martial Arts is a pretty special place. Having been around for 15 years, EP Martial Arts is a gym that was started by two friends who wanted to spread their passion for studying martial arts to Rhode Island’s aspiring martial artists of all ages. Since opening their doors, they’ve gone on to train many students for both self-defense and competition purposes—a unique blend of traditional and combat sports worlds of martial arts culture.
They initially boot-strapped everything they had, including a website built on WordPress with standard “marketing” purposes. However, as the community has grown, it was clear they needed a more streamlined presence and solution towards their everyday operations. We engaged with them via our Branding & Website Essentials project package, taking the opportunity to center their brand into a more holistic strategy while cleaning up visuals and making them bigger, bolder and edgier. Finally, we worked with them on a UX sprint and fully custom e-commerce website redesign—built completely on Squarespace using our go-too tools, SquareKicker and SEOSpace, as well as a Printful drop-shipping integration.
